Grant Jonathan makes exquisite traditional Tuscarora beadwork art/souvenirs.

Grant Jonathan, Tuscarora Bear Clan, brings his beaded art work to Santa Fe Indian Market and sells out every year. His work is very traditional Tuscarora style that includes hanging treasures that are heart shaped, covered in velvet and raised beadwork. Historically they were souvenirs sold to tourists visiting Niagara Falls, where they had been forcefully resettled. Grant makes hanging birds and strawberries, cuffs, moccasins with lots of owls. I have the honor of photographing them before they go to enthusiastic collectors. This year he brought a pair of dragonfly 12-spots with black and white striped wings. @skarooreh
